Position Type : Permanent

Designation : R&D Software Developer - Embedded

Responsibilities:

* Work as a team to design and research new and exciting technology products for intelligent home markets
* Work closely with Application and Electronic design teams
* Involve in developing firmware and interface to hardware design
* Develop products based on embedded platform and smart phone platform
* Develop plans outlining steps and time tables for developing programs and communicate plans and status to management and other development team members.
* Design, code and test moderately complex units/modules that meet functional and business requirements.
* Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
* Conduct moderately complex software test automation activities including design and execution of automation test plan, test cases, test scripts and test results for software products to ensure they meet quality, reliability, and design requirements.
* Present, organize and convey project problems or issues within and across other functions and within the same organization

Requirements:

* Bachelor or Masters or Doctorate degree in Computer Engineering, software development or related technical discipline.
* Extensive experience on C++/C, object oriented software development
* Experienced with QT embedded, Symbian, WINCE and/or Android
* Good Knowledge in OOP concepts
* Must be able to interpret schematics diagrams.
* Must be competent in interfacing hardware devices with firmware.
* Understand embedded systems architecture and development methodologies
* iPad, iPhone and / or iPod Touch development will be an advantage
* Excellent interpersonal skill and creativity.
* Good command in English
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Must be a team player who is able to work independently and self-motivated
